Today was another day of rest for Avi.
Rest brings healing, so whatever she needs to feel well.
When awake, she still loves eating. Besides her bottles, she’s really enjoying yogurt right now.
Tomorrow is another clinic day. As long as she still doesn’t need blood products, it should be a quick one.
We’re waiting to see if her TMA medicine (the real expensive one) can be changed to once a month.
It all depends on how well her red blood cells are reacting to it.
And since she had her Pentamidine (pneumonia preventive medication) last week, she shouldn’t need any infusions tomorrow.
Finally, we’ll see what the pain team suggests for this weeks taper.
She’s done really well with this last one, so we’re hoping that trend continues for her.
If all goes well, she should be off in 3-4 weeks! (Right around the time we take our trip!)
