Avery had a lazy Christmas Eve and has been in a great mood. Best of all, her hemoglobin has continued to hold and her diapers are showing no signs of bleeding.
Therefore, they’ll start weaning her off her stomach meds!
Getting her off that medicine gets us one step closer to home!
It’s still not the “family” Christmas we were going for, but Avery is doing well and we can all be together nearby, so that’s good enough.
Our biggest Christmas wish is for Avery to get better, come home, and celebrate every Christmas forward with us.
