The past few days have been incredibly challenging.
They’ve decided to sedate Avery today and put her on CPAP (a mask that covers her face). The hope is to keep her off the ventilator.
When Papa and I left the hospital around 1pm, she was doing well and Dad said she was still sleeping. Her 02, heart rate, and respiratory rate are all holding steady.
They just want her to rest so her body can continue to heal.
Mom has been home sleeping all day.
But, again, thank you. It’s been one of the hardest days simply because we’re tired of all the setbacks.
We just want our girl healthy and home.
It’s been a really long day.
