The LP showed NO SIGN OF LEUKEMIA IN THE SPINE
I can’t tell you how excited we were to hear that!
On to the “not as good news” though.
Avery still isn’t gaining weight.
Her input and output are good, but her poor little body is burning so many calories fighting the cancer that she isn’t gaining weight.
Her doctors say she needs all the calorie intake so she can get to keep up her energy and fight!
If she doesn’t start gaining, the next option is a feeding tube. We’re praying the increased bottles prevent that step.
So, specific prayer requests:
- praise for clear LP results
- pray for remission
- pray Avery gains weight
- pray for no infections
