Our Poor Girl Had a Rough 24 Hours

MORNING UPDATE:

Our poor girl had a rough 24 hours.

She slept well last night (thanks to morphine and Tylenol).

Her fever never broke through the night; spiked to around 103°F early this morning and stayed above 100°F most of the night.

Woke up this morning swollen on her left side due to all the IV fluids she’s getting. They settled on that side because that’s the side she was sleeping on.

They also gave her some supplemental aerosol oxygen through the night due to her high heart rate and a few small dips in her respiration.

Her temperature was 99.5°F when she woke up around 8:30am, but has since climbed back up to 102°F.

She’ll be on Tylenol every 4 hours until the fever can stop climbing, then they’ll space the doses out.

NOTE: She has to be fever free for 24 hours, without Tylenol, in order to be discharged.
Keep praying for our sweet girl today. Her poor little body is exhausted.
