They called and said the Doctors are bringing in the NICU team today to try to get the PICC line started.
They have better equipment for it.
Avery has had 1 bag of platelets and 3 bags of hemoglobin since arriving yesterday. Her hemoglobin is up a point and her WBC is going down, so those are both good things.
Her O2 is staying around 99-100%, so that’s another positive.
They’ve only seen the on-call ICU Doctor today, but were told to expect the Oncology team to be in soon.
