Happily Ever Avery

On-call Oncologist just came in and these are the notes I took while listening in:

  • all numbers look “pretty darn good”
  • they won’t be changing anything they’re already doing
  • WBC looks beautiful; her original counts she presented with had them very nervous, but she’s responding “beautifully” to everything they’re doing
  • they don’t expect to see any more problems with her amino acids or potassium levels
  • next concern is infections
  • watching kidneys, liver, etc. for any side effects of therapy (have already begun preventative medicine for liver)
  • very optimistic
  • said she “couldn’t look better than she does right now”
