Saturday Smiles
Avery’s care team often comments on how happy she is and how much her smiles brighten their day.
We agreed that seeing her happy, playing, and babbling, helps us feel better.
Most days it’s hard to look at her and know her body is fighting a monster.
She is such a joy to be with.
As for an update today, there’s really nothing new today.
We’re hanging out watching her favorite videos, playing, and waiting for the rain to begin outside her hospital windows.
Still waiting. It’s the only thing we can do for now.
