Avery had a great day! We saw smiles and a slight giggle here and there. She played in the floor with some of her new toys.
We decided to take a last-minute getaway to spend some time with both girls. While researching nearby places, we discovered North Texas Jellystone Park and WOW!
So many behind-the-scenes conversations and emotions, but the final decision was made today… and she’s home!
“When you know what you hope for most…you can make things happen, almost like magic.” Holding the hope for what we want the most: REMISSION.
Okay, not exactly big news to most, but we were all very excited when we discovered that Avery has her first tooth yesterday.
Even though Avery couldn’t get in the pool, she still had vacation vibes while playing poolside in her personal inflatable baby shark pool.
If everything goes the way we hope, today was Avery’s last chemo!! She’ll get her reprogrammed CAR T-cells infused on Tuesday.
I think someone is finally feeling 100% back to normal. Having a happy, hungry Avery is helping us all feel better.
Each day seems to get a little easier, even though we believe she’s still experiencing withdrawal symptoms and continued side effects.
