She had just had some medicine to help with the withdrawals and was feeling pretty good.
Until it wore off.
Overnight and into today, she’s had more rough patches than good.
We’re not sure why this taper is hitting her so much harder, but we’re really hoping she gets some relief soon.
Mom and Dad are taking shifts sleeping and pacing with her.
“The Family Madrigal” from Encanto has been playing on repeat all day.
It’s the only thing that brings her a bit of joy and an occasional smile emerges.
Otherwise, Avery, Mom, and Dad are all miserable.
Big Sis has been with us since Tuesday so she gets our focus here, while Mom and Dad focus on Avi.
Fortunately for Ry (Big Sis), she’s comfortable at both of our homes and has been doing well.
Now, if we can just get Avi well.
Keep lifting her (and Mom & Dad) up. It’s been a really rough week.
