Look who’s been awake more today?!
She’s also eating on an almost regular schedule.
Sitting up to play for short periods of time.
Talking in her precious little way.
And she’s no longer on oxygen!
So many great strides today after struggling so hard the last few days.
We’re very excited to see her slowly returning back to herself.
Unfortunately, she did start having a fever again early this morning.
BUT, it’s been low-grade all day hovering around the 100°F mark. We’ll take that over 105° any day!
We’re definitely calling this a WIN today and hope to see more of her smiley self evolve over the next few days.

Even on Avery’s best days, this is an incredibly hard journey to be on.
