Today was procedure + chemo day, so not one of the best.
Her LP was early this morning and preliminary results show NO SIGNS OF CANCER. This is always welcome news.
They still injected three chemo meds into her spine for preventative care moving forward.
Today was also time to start her chemo meds again. (She typically has 5 days on, 2 days off with an oral chemo nightly).
Therefore, the LP combined with the medications make for a miserable baby. Nausea + pain.
Mom and Dad are doing their best to help keep her comfortable as the medical team is trying to determine the right mix of meds to help her as well.
Because we’ve been doing this for 4 months, we typically know which days to expect this sort of reaction, but it doesn’t make it any easier.
It’s tough seeing your baby in pain.
Pray she is able to find relief and feels better tomorrow.
We’re on Day 8 of 27 with chemo meds.
