Avery had her regular clinic day today, plus a scheduled LP.
- Hgb: 7.4
- Platelets: 150
- ANC: 40
But, she didn’t qualify for treatment again due to her low ANC.
Her low ANC numbers also mean we continue doing our best to stay hyper vigilant in avoiding any and all infections… in the middle of a pandemic.
As a reminder, she goes into clinic once a week to check labs and receive her chemo meds for the week.
She gets 4 shots of chemo at home over the week before returning to the clinic each Wednesday.
If her numbers aren’t where they need to be, we simply skip that week and try again the next week.
So, we’re on pause again this week and will see what next Wednesday looks like.
